🥇 Computer Science Project
Finished my Comp Sci Project on monitoring a forest for potential wildfire risk, the project files will be available here in the coming weeks once the submission portal closes 📅 2026
🥇 Finished Applied Maths Project
Finished my project on the effects of the Materials in Newtons Cradle on the resultant number of collisions, file will be available here as a PDF once submission portal closes 📅 2026
🥇 Switched to Arch Linux
Having used Linux Mint for about 8 months I wanted a more customisable distro, decided on Arch using Hyprland for its elite workflow and complete freedom 📅 2026
🥇 Finished Mocks
On minimal study I finished my Mock exams, the results I recieved are good considering the exams were quite hard, most proud of 92% in Applied Maths 📅 2026
🥇 Munster Frisbee 2nd Place
We take frisbee incredibly, deeply seriously. We will not fail again. 📅 2026
🥇 Created Macro.py
Following on from some of my other projects, I wanted to create a general purpose macro program. The program has 2 modes, record and playback. Once record is activated any inputs on mouse or keyboard are logged with a timestamp and location in a .csv file. When the file is ran in playback mode all inputs will be executed in the same location and time. This is useful for automation and allows me to spam check the RSA.ie site for Driving test appointments. (this may seem unethical but there is already hundreds of bots out there doing the same, if you cant beat them join them) 📅 2026
🥇 Applied for Driving Test
Finishing all my Lessons means I can finally enter the long long long waiting list to get a driving test. Should be able to pass by the time it comes around if I can learn how to reverse around a corner without demolishing the curb 📅 2026
🥇 Switched to Linux Mint
My growing despise for Windows made me try something new. I hate how slow Windows is, I hate how it forces me into updates, I hate Onedrive, I hate Edge and I hate waiting. Switching to Mint was super easy and I still had the option to boot into Windows to play games with kernel-level anticheat. Setting up keybinds made the whole system feel responsive and instantaneous. Without touching my mouse I could open Google Classroom, Firefox, Terminal, Spotify and more in seconds. So glad I made the switch, never going back as long as I can help it 📅 2025
🥇 Built own PC
A lengthy and stressful process, But it was fine. Having watched Linus Tech Tips I was basically an expert on PCs and the computer posted first try. One minor hiccup was putting on the CPU cooler wrong, Monitoring my temps the CPU was reaching 95C and throttling, This was quickly fixed. Currently using a Radeon 6700XT, Intel 12400F and 32GB DDR5 RAM (Looking back on it im glad I bought the RAM while I still could) 📅 2025
